TRUCKSMART™ AUTOMATES A MEASUREMENT OF INCOMING RAW WOOD
TruckSmartTM digitizes the measurement of incoming wood. At the same time, it speeds up the wood measurement process and improves the transparency of the mill’s wood flow.
With TruckSmart, a truckload arriving at the gate is scanned into the mill’s wood accounting system in 60 seconds. Using machine vision and artificial intelligence, it records the volume and quality of the wood without the possibility of human error. This significantly speeds up the measurement of incoming wood. The quality and quantity data of each batch is easily traceable. It improves the efficiency of wood procurement and the transparency of the wood chain. >>
BASINSMART™ IMPROVES WOOD YARD MANAGEMENT
BasinSmartTM is Teknosavo’s measuring unit, developed for wood yard management.
The portable measuring unit makes measuring material in the wood yard convenient and fast. The volume and quality data of the measured wood bundle appear in the system and thus on the driver’s monitor within seconds. The information helps in managing a steady wood flow and maintenance the wood yard. BasinSmart speeds up yard management and internal logistics in the mill. It can be easily integrated into any mill’s own system, or alternatively utilize Teknosavo’s wood accounting system. >>
WOODSMART™ FOR OPTIMIZING BARK AND CHIP PRODUCTION
The innovative WoodSmart™ system is Teknosavo’s flagship product. It is designed to optimize wood debarking and chip production.
WoodSmart™ delivers significant savings in the mill’s energy and raw material costs while maximizing the quality of the entire production process. The WoodSmart™ system has five Smart solutions that monitor different parts of the process in real time. Using laser, machine vision and artificial intelligence, the system calculates the best possible values for debarking and automates production to match these parameters. It ensures unified debarking quality, minimizes wood losses and identifies possible transverse or broken logs in advance. This ensures a significant reduction in the number of line disturbances and potential breaks. The system also warns of stones and other foreign objects that have entered the line. This keeps the chipping blades in good condition and the quality of the chips consistent.

CHIPSMART™ 2D AND 3D AUTOMATES CHIP QUALITY SURVAILANCE
Teknosavo’s chip meters offer automated solutions for monitoring the chip flow in a production line (2D) and for taking laboratory samples (3D).
ChipSmartTM 2D identifies three different product categories on a chip line based on their brightness, bark and moisture content. With automated chip quality monitoring, the system adjusts the amount and speed of chips delivered to the digester.
ChipSmartTM 3D automates sampling for production quality monitoring. It directs chips to a separate line, performs automatic testing without manual collection and laboratory work, and also records the results in the factory’s operative system. In the measurement, it utilizes the Scan CM 40:01 standard and offers an excellent solution for automating production sampling. Recommended testing interval is four times per hour. >>
