WoodSmart\u2122 control system is developed for automated control of pulp wood debarking. This innovative optimizing system, equipped with patented online measurement devices, maximizes the whole process capacity from gate to digester.<\/p>\n<p>With the laser and camera technology the system measures multiple process variables in real-time and calculates the best control variables for debarking. The solutions optimize the mill productivity level regardless of work shifts. This ensures the steady and good quality production level at all times.<\/p>\n<p>Pite\u00e5 mill is biggest kraftliner mill in Europe, capacity 700.000 t\/a.
